About the Andrew Norman Library

The Library specializes in subjects related to human development across the life span, early childhood education and psychosocial development, special education, classroom curricula (K-12), social work, psychology, and marriage and family therapy. All Pacific Oaks students have access to the library’s print and electronic collections.

Students currently use the Library’s discovery system PrimoVE (Ex Libris) to access 280 databases, over 499,472 eBooks, 165,854 eJournal Titles, 106,800 streaming videos, and over 1.7 million full text dissertations and theses. Popular databases and resources include ProQuest One Academic, EBSCO Medline Complete, Elsevier Science Direct Collections, SAGE Research Methods, Video, and Online Journals, PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES, PsycTESTS, and Web of Science.

Pacific Oaks students are automatically registered as library users upon enrollment. The library offers a wide range of student support services, including access to interlibrary loans, in-class instructional support, reference services, and thesis and APA support.
